The Members of the Penticton Hospitality Association are pleased and proud to be your hosts when you visit Penticton. Our association is made up of members from every area of the hospitality industry, from accommodation providers - resorts, hotels, motels, campgrounds, RV Parks - to fine restaurants, recreation businesses, amusements, attractions and retailers.

We provide this site, BestoftheOkanagan.com, to share with you the all the great things there are to see, do and enjoy in this wonderful bit of paradise.

The Penticton Hospitality Association was instrumental in establishing the tourism marketing fund for Penticton and has a permanent director on the Penticton Tourism Advisory Council. Recently the PHA also campaigned successfully for the construction of the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Our community initiatives include Candy Cane Lane, run every year at Christmas. Last year Candy Cane Lane raised almost a ton of food for the Penticton's needy.

For its members, the Hospitality Association provides a forum for the issues and concerns important to Penticton's tourism businesses. It also provides a place where businesspeople involved in tourism can meet and get to know each other, to promote their businesses and discover ways in which they work together for their mutual benefit. The PHA provides a voice for the tourism industry that forms a substantial part of the local economy and employs thousands of local people. It has represented the tourism sector before city council on many occasions, addressing issues from the perspective of tourism operators.

If you operate a tourism business in the Penticton area (Penticton, Naramata, Kaleden, Twin Lakes, Okanagan Falls, Summerland) and would like to join the Penticton Hospitality Association contact:

Membership costs $95.00 per year and runs from January 1 to December 31 of each calendar year.

Associate Membership is open to businesses that supply the tourism industry or are in some other way affiliated with tourism.

PHA programs include a member advisory network and the ScamAlerts program. In 2005 the PHA was instrumental in the capture of two fugitives. The PHA has also assisted in the location of missing persons.
